DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 28th year with its 2025 weekly surveys.
Texas and Clemson maintained the top two spots from last week while Oregon State reached a season-high No. 3 position. Previous No. 1 Tennessee is No. 4, while LSU holds down the No. 5 ranking. Streaking No. 10 West Virginia, NCAA-best current longest winning streak at 14 games, has the fewest setbacks of any Division I member at 34-4 overall. The Mountaineers climbed eight places from the April 14 survey.
Some of the other big movers from Week 10 to Week 11 were Oklahoma from No. 16 to 12, Vanderbilt from No. 19 to 15, Coastal Carolina from No. 20 to 17 and from receiving votes to Nos. 22-25, respectively, DBU, Kansas. Southern Miss, and first-time top-25 member in 2025 McNeese.
There have been nine conferences and independents (a season-most nine this week) represented in the first 11 standings of 2025, and there were 12 different conferences appearing in the 2024 NCBWA polls.

Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters and publicists of the sport. Members receive a membership card, directory, newsletter updates and official votes in the Dick Howser Trophy, Regional Players of the Year and NCBWA All-America voting. The NCBWA also sponsors Division I Players of the Week, the Stopper of the Year, and publication and writing contests.
