Arquette, Anker and Carey are Dick Howser Trophy National Players of the Week
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending April 13. Oregon State junior infielder Avi Arquette was named National Hitter of the Week, while Fresno State junior right-handed pitcher Jack Anker and Michigan freshman right-handed pitcher Tate Carey were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week
FRESNO STATE'S BATESOLE IS NCBWA COACH OF THE YEAR
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has announced today that its inaugural National Coach of the Year Award will go to Fresno State skipper Mike Batesole. The award, which was voted on by the NCBWA Board of Directors, was chosen from a list that included all Division I Conference Coaches of the Year.
