The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending May 18. Grambling State junior outfielder Cameron Hill and Purdue Fort Wayne sophomore infielder Justin Osterhouse were named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Texas A&M junior left-handed pitcher Justin Lamkin was named National Pitcher of the Week.
